Real Estate

Real Estate Law is not just the good. It is not just the bad. It is the everything in between. O'Connell Law Group is experienced in all facets of real estate and the legal issues that are inherent in those transactions.

We believe that the best way to win a game is to become proficient in all positions on the team. To us, that means representing all parties in real estate transactions for both plaintiff and defense work, as well as transactional work.

Our litigation practice serves buyers, sellers, renters, landlords and developers, both residential and commercial. The types of cases we handle include seller nondisclosure, breach of contract, boundary disputes, habitability issues and other real estate disputes.

Our transactional practice serves many of the same parties and covers, purchases, leases, conventional lending review, deed drafting, and private lending agreements.

Our construction practice is premised on a similar theory as our real estate practice, described above.

We represent general contractors, subcontractors, homeowners, purchasers of new construction, developers and everyone in between.

Whether it be construction defect, breach of contract, contract drafting, review or negotiation. We have worked each side of these often complex cases and are prepared to represent all parties.

Business law intertwines itself into real estate and construction without much effort. We help with entity selection, formation, operations and document drafting. We can create simple or complex entity structures for most business types.

After the new smell wears off and any disputes arise, our litigation practice is well versed at both negotiations and law suits seeking fair results for our business clients.
